[per]mission to Play presents ‘Stop and Play’: An international group of artists will playfully investigate Canton’s public space(s).
For our ‘Stop and Play’ project (running Tuesday 9 - Sunday 14 July 2024) [per]mission to Play will be in Canton exploring, highlighting, and playfully subverting how the city shapes our behaviour, movements, and actions in public space. We will engage with in-person artistic and research methods, conversations, and experimentation in public space.
Outside our time exploring public spaces we will be based in Chapter Arts.
Our findings will be shared with the public through two free events: a participatory walk and a talk about our project with a sharing of a map.
The events are family-friendly, neurodivergent friendly, LGBTQ+ friendly.
