Reinventing the Protagonist is a free digital course for Deaf and/or Disabled and/or Neurodiverse writers living in Wales. This opportunity is organised by Literature Wales in partnership with Disability Arts Cymru. The course is run as a series of 5 digital workshops and one-on-one sessions, led by internationally acclaimed playwright and writer Kaite O’Reilly.

Deaf Gathering Cymru is a deaf-led festival in Cardiff created by Chapter Arts Centre and deaf artists and creative access consultants Jonny Cotsen and Heather Williams. Taking Place from 5-8 September 2024 and open to everyone, the four-day celebration builds on the success of last year’s Deaf Together and offers a dynamic programme of culture and conversation with deaf perspectives at the centre.

Aberystwyth Arts Centre are looking for 6 creative practitioners of colour to join us on a 6-month mentorship programme: Multiplicity.

Opportunity for an installation artist or creative identifying from the living experience of disability including Deaf and neurodivergent creatives, to produce and animate a quiet tent for this year’s Garrog Festival. A tent is available and will be erected.
Peak Peers 2024 is an 8-day programme inviting young people to explore themes of land, belonging, activism and creativity rooted in the Black Mountains and Welsh Borders. The programme takes place across September, October and November 2024 and includes creative workshops, walks and talks with artists and activists.
