StammerMouth’s CHOO CHOO! at Hijinx Unity Festival

Hijinx’s Unity Festival is one of Europe’s largest inclusive arts festivals and the only one of its kind in Wales. The festival is back this year, 3 – 7 July in Cardiff, with a sister event at Chapter in Cardiff (4 – 6 July), as well as satellite programmes in Bangor (27 June) and Llanelli (29 June).

This year’s programme includes DAC’s own Nye Russell-Thompson! Nye’s award-winning theatre company StammerMouth have a showing of CHOO CHOO! at Wales Millennium Centre on the 5 July at 8pm. The full programme, which brings together some of the best inclusive disability arts and theatre from around the world, will take place in and around the Wales Millennium Centre and includes:

  • Free pop-up street performances

  • Live music

  • Comedy

  • Drag

  • Ticketed theatre and dance events in the Weston Studio

  • Unity Expanded: three specially curated immersive and extended reality experiences.
