Aberystwyth Marginalised Writers' Takeover

Sairah Ahsan and Jo Lambert are organising a free hybrid event on the 13th July for writers who are under-represented because of factors including low income, racism, ableism, homophobia, anti-trans bias and classism.

The event is for anyone who writes (published and unpublished) to find out more about the publishing industry in Wales, to make connections and to hear writers discuss their experiences. There's also an open mic event at which people are welcome to share at, both online and in person. People are welcome to dip in and out throughout the day.

The current line up is Durre Shahwar, Grace Quantock, Parthian Books, Gwyllion Magazine, Wizard's Tower Press, Broken Sleep Books, Inclusive Journalism Cymru, The Welsh Agenda, Isabel Campbell, Joshua Jones and Gareth James!
